Great job team – keep up the sessions as required right throughout the school carnival season and use it as race practice on top of your regular training schedule. The focus is now clearly towards Nationals Age with Metropolitan being our next major hit out and last chance qualifier for those really close. Happy school racing.
2011 NSW Open Water Championships
5km
Penrith showcased its nicest weather with blue skies and not a breath of wind, perfect conditions for fast swimming and that’s exactly what we saw.
Lachlan Hinds - 1:01:36.00 (5th) Personal Best Time + National Qualifying Time
Sabrina Warwar - 1:12:31.00 (10th)
10km
Not the greatest of weather. The race was called short due to lightening in the area. Results were taken from the 7.5km turn.
